GLOB LOGISTICS has a wonderful opportunity for an energetic individual that can handle both basic warehouse duties as well as the customer service aspects of the job to join our well established business. We are looking for an experienced Shipping and Receiving Specialists. You have talent, ambition and skills. Now is the time to achieve something more with our company! The position of SHIPPING and RECEIVING CLERK must meet the qualifications below.
Primary Functions/ Responsibilities:
- Job duties include verifying/checking orders and arranging payment terms
- Box and package orders for shipment to customers
- Candidate should have an ability to work independently, be detailed oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
- Coordinate all activities of the shipping department pertaining to preparing shipments for domestic and international destinations
- Facilitate customer service requests as needed and ensure shipments / ASN’s are sent out on time and correct
- Monitor shipping activities to ensure compliance to shipping requirements. Resolve discrepancies as required
- Shipping & receiving clerk may also be asked to perform other functions that the management deems is within the scope of their responsibility.
Skills and Education Required:
- You must be authorized to work in the U.S.A.
- High school education preferred
- Basic knowledge or experience in the warehousing industry
- Organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and accurate counting ability
- Demonstrated ability to write reports, business correspondence
- Demonstrated ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, employees and customers
- Demonstrated ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, and percentages
- Demonstrated ability to identify problems, collect data and make recommendations
- Proficient in MS Office software (Word and Excel)

The ideal candidate will have 1+ years shipping/receiving experience. Must be hands-on, team player with ability to lift up to 35-40 lbs. Must have stable internet connection at home. All applicants must be able to start within 2 weeks.
